Recycling Challenge

CPES is participating in a recycling challenge sponsored by Trex to see how much plastic we can keep out of landfills. Students bring plastic bags or plastic wrap to school and deposit it in one of the containers near doors 1, 2, 3, and 11. PTA parent volunteers will collect and weigh it, and then drop it off for recycling at one of the participating grocery stores. Trex then uses the recycled plastic to create environmentally responsible outdoor products. To learn more and to see the items that can be recycled, please click here.
